Checked out the Studio during the open house. I was immediately impressed with the ambiance of the whole entire studio. You have no choice but to relax the moment you walk through the door thanks to the wonderful atmosphere that was created. The massage chair was amazing, I got to test it out during open house and everyone there was also loving it. I'm going to be doing the weight managment reflexology and I'm very excited. I highly recommend that you come see for yourself!!!

What is Reflexology ?
Reflexology is viewed in the west as a form of massage therapy often referred to as “zone” therapy.
Reflexology is a complimentary therapy that works through the application of a focused massage on the feet or the hands; encouraging the body to heal itself.
This specific type of massage promotes relaxation, improves circulation, reduces pain and aims to restore and maintain the body’s natural equilibrium and encourage healing.
The underlying theory behind reflexology is that there are “reflex” areas on the feet and hands that correspond to specific organs, glands, and other parts of the body.
Using the philosophy, practitioners apply pressure to these reflex areas in order to promote health in the corresponding “mirrored” organs through energy path ways as described in
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) techniques.
Reflexology is a good all-around therapy that aims to improve our general health and sense of well-being and has been reported in successfully alleviating:
Back Pain
Migraine
Anxiety
Sleep Disorders
Sports Injuries
Tiredness and fatigue
Digestive disorders
Stress-related conditions
A Typical Treatment
On your first visit, the reflexologist will have a preliminary discussion with you to evaluate your health and lifestyle.
Please allow aditional 30 minutes for first visit.
Please note some services are only available in 60 minute sessions,
this is to provide you with the most beneficial results.
Body Reflexology (focus on shoulders, upper and lower back and feet)
.........60 min $95
"most requested session"..........................90 minutes............$125
Reflexology (focus on feet)…………………60 min……. $ 95
Standard session includes: Lavender mineral wrap for your feet and hand reflexology treatment for 15 minutes while your feet soak in the warmth of the wrap , then relax for 45 minutes of reflexology targeted for your specific area in need of treatment, on a cushioned massage table with a lavender eye pillow and warm towels
and soothing music to relax you.
If you dont like your feet being touched, you can relax and enjoy the same benefits with a Hand Reflexology session
Lymphatic Drainage Reflexology..................60 min........$ 95
During these sessions the focus is on the area from the top of the leg to the foot to relieve edema. (swelling)
Your therapist's touch will often be very light to moderate (just enough pressure to stretch the skin) but the treatment should never elicit pain or discomfort.
You may experience sensations on the table as lymph fluids begin to move (tingling, coolness in fingers and toes, digestive noise).
Your therapist may incorporate other energy healing techniques to aid in optimal lymph flow.
After Several Lymph Drainage Sessions, other common benefits may occur:
Weight loss with a reduction in adipose (body fat)
and cellulite tissue.
Reduced water retention.
Reduction or elimination of your chronic pain.
Reduction of your skin conditions and allergies.
Increased energy.
Increased metabolism.
Reduction of PMS symptoms.

Reflexology and Weight Loss
Reflexology for weight loss is great at helping anyone reach their weight loss goals.
If someone is already looking at their diet and making changes, as well as finding active things to do to help lose weight, then regular reflexology sessions, from Reflexologist, will definitely help the process.
It will help because reflexology helps to restore balance among the bodies main systems, as well as regularly stimulating the glands including the thyroid, the digestive system and nervous system.. all the parts of the body, including those that will allow a person to feel relaxed and confident in reaching their goal.
Keep in mind that reflexology alone might not help you achieve the weight loss you desire. Reflexology can facilitate the weight-loss process, but depending on how much weight you need to lose, you'll also likely need to follow sensible diet habits and exercise
This method of foot reflexology is a unique technique designed to support weight management and a healthy body image. Traditional Chinese meridian work, and trigger point stimulation are integrated into this specialized reflexology session. Each session starts with a warm aromatherapy foot wrap, then progresses to a cushioned massage table with a lavender eye pillow and warm towels.

Ayurvedic Facial Reflexology......................60 min .........$ 95
Ayurveda, the Indian science of health, emphasizes the importance of oil massage not merely as a luxury but as an integral ingredient for health. Sesame oil is considered the perfect medium for delivering a host of health and beauty benefits. A facial massage using sesame oil will help relieve stress, as well as giving you healthier, younger-looking skin
Anti-oxidant
Sesame oil has anti-oxidant properties to neutralize free radicals which can cause skin to appear older. Sesame oil penetrates the skin easily, providing cellular nourishment.
Antibacterial
Sesame oil can destroy common skin pathogens. Applying sesame oil externally can actually help prevent skin breakouts, as well as rashes and other skin disorders.
Calming
Wrinkles are more prominent when we experience stress. A facial massage helps relieve tension and contraction in the facial muscles, which creates a false appearance of age.
Moisturizing
Sesame oil softens the skin. It relieves skin dryness, and helps skin retain moisture. Sesame oil can even be used to help with eczema or psoriasis.
Pain Relief
Sesame oil has anti-inflammatory properties. It can alleviate pain in the facial region and elsewhere in the body.
Reflexology for Fibromyalgia
What Is Fibromyalgia?
Fibromyalgia is a complicated disorder of the nervous system that is not yet well understood. Most often, the syndrome is diagnosed by exclusion, as other conditions are eliminated as a possible cause of the symptoms, since there is no definitive test. Fibromyalgia may have a slow onset or develop suddenly after a traumatic injury of illness. Patients often experience widespread pain that occurs continuously with often very little relief from pain medications.
Additional symptoms associated with the fibromyalgia syndrome may include:
- Muscle stiffness and soreness
- Tender points when touched, usually unilateral and localized
- Debilitating mental and physical fatigue and energy drain
- Sleep disorders, particularly involving disruption of stage four deep sleep
- Irritable bowel and bladder complaints
- Anxiety and depression in response to limitations in physical and mental ability
- Migraine headaches
How Can Reflexology Help Fibromyalgia?
Reflexologists examine the foot looking for “stress cues” that help determine which area of the body may be experiencing distress. When pressure is applied with thumb and hand techniques to specific areas of the feet, this helps stimulate the body’s natural healing response in corresponding body parts. For individuals suffering the pervasive pain of fibromyalgia, reflexology can offer some relief of the distressing symptoms without danger of the side effects often associated with pharmaceutical medication.
Some of the benefits of reflexology include:
- Improved circulation and energy flow
- Relief of common aches and pains
- Release and elimination of toxins from tissues
- Promotion of healthy functioning in organs
- Improved immune system function
- Alleviation of tension and stress
- Balanced energy and promotion of homeostasis
Reflexology is based on the theory that energy blockages along the meridian pathways of the body may disrupt the flow of blood and lymph necessary to healthy functioning of organs and tissues. Some theories of fibromyalgia suggest that energy blockage plays a part in development of the fibromyalgia syndrome. When a tender point or tension is found on specific areas of the feet, this may indicate a blockage of energy in the corresponding organ or tissue. Manipulation of this tender point through reflexology pressure can relieve the blockage, stimulate self-healing and provide some easing of pain

Reflexology for Diabetic Neuropathy
Diabetic neuropathy is nerve damage caused by diabetes. There are three types of diabetic neuropathy; peripheral, autonomic and focal. Peripheral nerves sense pain, touch, hot and cold. They affect movement and muscle strength. The nerves in the feet and legs are affected most often and can lead to serious foot problems. The autonomic nervous system controls functions such as heartbeat, blood pressure, sweating, digestion, and urination. Focal neuropathy usually only affects one nerve and happens suddenly.
Reflexology improves diabetic neuropathy firstly by increasing circulation.
When firm pressure is applied to the body, especially the lower extremities, it manually pumps blood, water and lymph to and from the area. The increased blood flow dissolves sugars, salts, proteins and fats, and brings nutrients to heal surrounding tissues.
Secondly, reflexology restores nerve integrity. The pressure used increases the chemicals sent along the nerve pathway to the brain. Clinical trials done by the Touch Research Institute have shown significant improvement in the regeneration of neural net pathways in just six 45 minute treatments.
And lastly, reflexology helps balance the endocrine/hormonal system. The pancreas is the organ of the endocrine systems which produces the insulin hormone. When the blood has too much sugar in it, the pancreas has to make more insulin to help cells process the excess sugar. Reflexology helps the pancreas not to have to work so hard.

What is Reiki?
The awareness that an unseen energy flows through all living things and directly affects the quality of a person’s health has been part of the wisdom of many cultures since ancient times. Reiki is not associated with religious ideas. When your life energy is low, it is more difficult to deal with stress; you may not sleep well, and you’re more susceptible to illness. When your life energy is strong, you feel strong, can more easily deal with stress, and are less likely to get sick. Reiki is a technique that increases a person’s supply of life energy.
Benefits
Reiki healing can be used whenever the body needs to be returned to a natural state of balance and health. It can relive stress, anxiety, menstrual problems, neck and back pain, digestive discomfort and headaches. Reiki is known to clear toxins from the body, encourage self-healing, balance energy, strengthen the immune system, relax the body and mind while enhancing awareness, creativity, focus and positive thinking.
Use in Hospitals
Reiki is becoming increasingly popular with the medical community, with over 800 hospitals across the U.S. offering Reiki as a standard part of hospital care. A Research study at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, CT indicates that Reiki improved patient sleep by 86 %, reduced pain by 78 %, reduced nausea by 80 %, and reduced anxiety during pregnancy by 94 %. In addition, nurses report that Reiki helps patients heal faster with less pain, reduces stress and improves mental attitude, improves appetite, and reduces the negative side effects of chemotherapy, radiation and other medical procedures.
